Butch Walker passed away suddenly Thursday, January 27, 2011 from heart failure at the tender age of 64. Butch is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Linda, his sons Dean (Erin) Walker, Monty (Tanya) Walker and daughter Kristie (Brent) Vallet. As well Butch leaves to mourn his loss his loving mother, Dolly Walker and two sisters Audrey Thompson and Linda Nielson. “Poppa” is survived by his 10 treasures Hailey, Kyle, Addison, Wyatt, Genevie, Charlee, Clairese, Luke, Saraphine and Cahl. Next to his love for his family his greatest passion was his 47 years in the power industry. Butch made many great friends and took great pride when one of his “Boys” went on to be a success in the field. Butch found great pleasure in “living life to the fullest”. Butch’s memory will be forever cherished by his family and numerous friends. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Diabetes Association or STARS.
Funeral Services will be held at the Alix Community Hall on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow. Expressions of sympathy may be made through www.wilsonsfuneralchapel.ca
