I was off to my basketball game. When my mom called and said that there was a sheriff at our house. That they needed to speek with her at once. So she met the sheriff. When my mother asked if it was Randy? The sheriff said," Is his birthday 10-2-53?" That is all he had to say. After that my mom, uncle, and aunt. Went to where I was playing, and pulled me out. My mother told me , and down I fell. He was killed on the job. In Cherokee County.

He was up in a double bucket; with a apprentice by his side. When the brand new pole broke, and came down pinning my father in between the bucket, and the wire. He was killed by suffication.

All I wish is that this woulda never happened. There is no changing life now. I wish i was there by his side. The last thing I told him was that I loved him that Monday. That Friday he was killed.

I have so much respect for the men and women who do that daily, and know the risk you are taking. I pray that those men that were there that day. Keep going strong, and it only happened to prove a point, or a reason.

My father will be dearly missed. At my athletic events, and everywhere. He is not one who will be forgotten. Once you met him. You always remembered him.

R.I.P RANDY MORRIS

                    I LOVE YOU DAD!!
